How and when you get paid

A business signs up using your code and their first payment goes through.

Your £40 commission shows as pending in your Ambassador dashboard straight away.

After a 30-day holding period — to account for any early cancellations or refunds — it's marked paid and released into your account.
Your dashboard shows every referral, its status, and your running total — no chasing spreadsheets or asking us for an update.
Ambassador Terms & Conditions
- Eligibility. Open to individuals aged 18+ with a genuine network of beauty business contacts. BookedByBeauty may approve or decline any application at its discretion.
- Your referral code. Once approved, you'll receive a personal referral code tied to your account. It's for you to share directly — not to be listed on public voucher/discount code sites without our agreement.
- Commission. £40 for every beauty business that signs up for a paid plan using your code. No cap on the number of referrals or total earnings.
- Qualifying signups. A referral qualifies once the business completes signup and their first payment is successfully processed. Free trials, cancelled signups, or refunded first payments don't qualify.
- Payment timing. Commission is held for 30 days from the referred business's confirmed signup, then paid into your Ambassador dashboard. This accounts for any cancellation or refund in the referred business's first month before commission is finalised.
- Your dashboard. Approved Ambassadors get access to a personal dashboard showing your code, referral history, pending and paid commission, and payout status.
- Tax responsibility. Commission paid under this programme is income to you. You're responsible for declaring and paying any tax owed on it to HMRC (or your local tax authority). We don't withhold tax from these payments and don't provide tax advice — speak to an accountant if you're unsure how this affects you.
- Fair use. Your code may not be used to sign yourself up, to make false or misleading claims about BookedByBeauty, or in any way that breaches Instagram, WhatsApp, Google, or other platform terms.
- Changes & termination. We may update these terms, or pause or end the Ambassador Program, at any time. Commission already earned on qualifying referrals before any such change will still be honoured.
This programme is new — terms above are what we intend to operate on, reviewed by a solicitor and accountant before real payments begin, particularly around payment timing, tax treatment, and worker status.
